Catherine Gergley started The Winter Park Nature Camp at Mead Gardens 30 years ago steaming from the perfect blend of nature and education, two subjects she is passionate about.

Catherine, a school teacher has taught for over 30 years, specializing in Gifted Education. She currently teaches Kindergarten at Audubon Park  K-8 school. She has a love for all things nature and helping students learn and grow.

The Nature Camp has allowed her to foster a love of learning for 1000s of kids over the years. Catherine provides hands on learning rooted in curiosity, fun, and enrichment at her camp. What she appreciates most is the unique learning opportunities that the camp environment facilitates.

She says her favorite part of leading The Nature Camp is seeing the delight on campers’ faces when they make connections while learning in a natural fun environment.
